I have a question, while you are remixing tracks can you record those on the spot,(like when you play live you adjust the tracks on the spot).

And how do you save them?

using Ableton Live, you can record MIDI controller automation live, save it, and render to wav.

dude....i give you props for your attempt.

but all you did was add percussion with a few fills, an annoying sample, and a bunch of effects over the audio.

and the only synth you used is in the intro...?

@PashnPullsTheTrigger Most of the time it's highly influenced electronic music. Like lets say its hard to get stems for jimmy hendrix.(for all i know they could be floating around somewhere). Well if you only got the mp3 for a song it really depends on the track itself. If there is a part playing like only the drums for instance, you could cut those out, loop it and do what you want with it.. Else it's hard. if you're lucky you could EQ them out of the mix or use an filter to filter those freq's

@grunntalll That makes sense... however... how many of the songs you hear, can you ACTUALLY get the stems for? Say you wanted to remix a song, but only had the MP3 for it... how would you cut it up and change/add diff things? Just a thought, but it would be really cool to see a tut vid on importing an MP3 and showing the basic process of remixing the song.
