Hawkwind fan video. Wise words.
I do not own the images.

Hawkwind named the song Black Elk speaks. Words spoken on the song are by American poet John G Neihardt known to the Oglala Sioux as Flaming Rainbow..

  • I am reading the book Black Elk speaks.. what an amazing book.. what I would have given to have met the man Black Elk and shared the expieriences of his life. It's so inspiring to read his words and feel his soul. I hope he walks the stars with his people .. he is loved and missed.

  • I love this song! I love to hear what Black Elk has to say in this song, it's so humble, so simple and so lovely the message. He also mentions the Star Nations: a huge community of beings from all over the Universe, from all different planets that are the protectors of the Love and the Light. Black Elk knew very well what he was talking about. ^__^

  • thru the magik of the ground thru the magic of the earth

  • Great creation by Hawkwind, so intensely moving to me..

  • I'm more familiar with Hawkwind's earlier works, but this really breathes new life into them.

  • So beautiful! Makes me proud to be Native!

  • @tscotty32 :: One of the greatest historical documents of all time, it certainly outranks the bible for authenticity and depth of understanding. Man is nothing, stardust. Our souls are timeless, and by listening, sharing, guiding we grow as one, far greater than the individual. The old ones were trapped by their technology, just as we are.

Great blessings and peace even in adversity belong to those with true hearts. You have a true heart indeed to understand the true rhythm of the universe.
