Who is the guy talking here? He's amazingly intelligent. It's too bad more people don't know about this shit. Then again, they probably wouldn't care. 1 thing not mentioned here, & I am not implying whether it is right/wrong, but if the West doesn't control the resources in question, there is little doubt that China will, for what it's worth. I guess it's a sort of "lesser of 2 evils" thing.

Continued: The free market economy and globalization is so powerful. It is difficult to combat in the western world. As one consumer, how can I make a difference. This is how most of us who care feel. As you listened in this broadcast, the companies involved in Africa are powerful here in the west also. Many westerners are materialistic & dont care, but there are still many who care and dont want to be a part of an injustice, such as robbing africans of their natural resources.
