Jack and Jill vs the World, It's My Turn, Common Practice, Flatland
In a theme of shifting perceptions, the volume begins with IT'S MY TURN in a depiction through gesture and expression that our experiences are more fulfilling when shared with others, and everyone gets a turn in the spotlight, in one form or another. Whether we want to believe it or not, our perceptions often precede us. This is cunningly portrayed in the short film COMMON PRACTICE. However, the most obtuse, (literally and figuratively) yet irreproachable depiction when questioning our understanding of reality hits home in the animated film FLATLAND.
The thoughts and loaded questions of our perceived reality can become a burdening topic. Consequently, the affable story JACK AND JILL VS THE WORLD, embodies these same ideas in a warm-hearted, colorful "manifesto," conquering life, beauty, love, and you can just forget about the pursuit of happiness.
