You keep saying it's a .45. The G27 is a .40 S&W. The G30 is the .45 variation...

@paigow66 you want a gun to shoot at the range, thats one thing. Handguns are built to protect yourself. This weapon is built to protect your life. Learn to stay focused and controlled and train your body to keep control of the weapon. Handguns are solely to harm people in self defense, not to comfortably shoot a piece of paper over and over. Your "comfortable" grip will lose you moments in self protection, your hand may hurt, but it hurts a lot less that a bullet in the gut

@paigow66 with a G27 there's no reason you should have to unload a full clip in self defense... you need to improve your shot, not your weapon. And the texture is purpose built, not meant to be nice and comfy. If there is an assailant approaching you, you want functionality and accuracy, not a weapon that keeps your manicure intact. Try a lighter trigger and a stronger forearm, not smoothing the grip that is built for GRIP

@SoulGABlack That's exactly what it is... Happened to me too.. Best thing to do is get rid of the junk extensions..

i got small hands and i can shoot my glock 20 and 21 as well as my 23 or 29,, i gota pick up a 27 i just got,, i heard it kicks like a mule but it should be good,, im a shooter not a recoil pussy!!

@paigow66 Its the Glock Gen 4 Mag the texture on the Gen 4 is ROUGH! lol, i had a Gen 4 then traded it for a normal glock.

@MNRiverCatfishin Stupid as it sounds, that is exactly right. The 40 is a larger bullet under much higher pressure and is proven to have better terminal performance.
He bro just so u know, its not the texture of the grip.....it the space between the mag & the gun. Im guessing thats its pinchin your pinky? If so, the smoother grip wont help that

@SoulGABlack no it really is the texture. when i shoot regular range reloads its not a problem but when you use self defense rounds like the HST this thing packs a PUNCH. the difference in kick is night and day really. just after 1 box of 50 self defense rounds the raised texture will start to bother you. not a big deal i dont plan on unloading a full box on a bad guy.
