  • Cute hair. I'd just put a scarf, hair band around at the front (wrapping around to the back) and be done with it. It's grown a good bit.

  • Wow, sorry for the late response. How the heck did I miss this?

Maybe I'll try the braids again in the future. It would probably look better now that my hair is longer.

  • sorry I commented under my sons name a minute ago. he didnt sign off..lol...

  • I have no idea how come I didn't see this when originally posted.

Sea salt in your hair? I've never heard of that before. What's the benefit? I would think salt would be extremely drying, but that's just my first reaction. Things are not always as they seem.

  • I don't no if you did this but maybe you can put a scarf on at night to make it lay down, and my hair does the same thing it won't let me braid down to the ends and i have to twist it, also i want to know what can a sista do to stop the shrinkage? I do my hair like you do and put the gel in and about an hour later it looks like i smashed my hair down like i went to sleep and woke up, i just don't no what to do about that maybe nothing until my hair grows out

  • Hmm, I don't know. Do you use a leave-in conditioner when you do it? I find that if I don't, sometimes my hair comes out dry and crunchy from the gel hardening in my hair. The conditioner acts as a buffer to keep my hair from shrinking too much and getting too hard. I use Paul Mitchell's "The Conditioner" as a leave-in, and while my hair is still wet, I add the gel. My hair shrinks a little bit after it dries, but it usually stays really coily and pretty much retains the shape.

  • Your hair has really grown a lot. I think it's a good idea to give your hair a break, especially in the summer months. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes less is more.

  • Ive been locked about 2and1/2 years. I just wash with Creme of Nature Shampoo, I spray with sea salt, and use a light oil on my scalp. nothing fancy. Ive seen all types of things people use, but my system works for me...Peace and Blessings. Zoe...

  • Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that and see how it works. What I've been doing is just pinning them down with bobby pins or barrettes. Wetting it down seems the better alternative.

  • Thanks! It really has grown. I didn't really know how much until I braided it. I was like, "Say Whaaaaat?" I'm really happy and excited about it.

Are you packing for your move back to GA? I bet you're excited. You seemed happy talking about it in your last video. I'm glad you're getting the chance to move back where you want to be.

  • Hey you! I've been well. VERY busy this past month with work and school. I'm happy because I'll be on vacation from work and school next week. I really need the break.

How's art school going? Haven't seen any videos from you in a long while. Hope to see that gorgeous smile of yours again soon!
