My tribute to the golden age of ocean liners and the lost greatness that will never be seen again, maybe copied but never equaled on the waters.

  • that close up shot when you see titanic is the olyimpic

  • @NeXeLsXPrOdUcTiOnS It is Titanic, her windows were enclosed after launching. This has been debated over and over again but has been historically verified.

  • @NeXeLsXPrOdUcTiOnS -Not that it matters considering this video is aimed at that entire generation of ships not any one ship, but it has been historically verified that Titanic was NOT launched with her forward A deck enclosed, she was fitted with the enclosed windows after her sister's maiden voyage. Only the last Olympic class was launched with her forward decks enclosed.

  • You know sometimes I watch Ocean Liners like Titanic & Poseidon like a zombie, When I dream about them, I slepp like a zombie.

  • The Great Ocean Liners has the zombifying power that would make anybody fall under. The Titanic is one of those Liners.

  • @shaylovern The reason why the tugs names have been " censored" is bcous this newsreel footage was passed off as being the " maiden voyage of the titanic" starting from southampton. The new york tugs would have given this away bcos the actual footage is indeed the olympic leaving new york!! This footage was shown in cinemas around the world after the titanic disaster.

  • My dream is to built 4 Ocean Liner that are almost exact replicas of Titanic. I'll do whatever it takes to make my dream real

  • The Ocean Liners of the past were great. Counterparts must be made

  • no one uses liners solely for travel these days, they are used for pleasure cruises and holidays. You should be thankful that big ships still exist at all as if it weren't for the holiday makers and cruise ships big ships would be but a distant memory and a thing of the past.

  • Thanks for posting this great video! Music and film are just amazing! I wans't even born yet but somehow I miss the golden age of ocean travel. Fortuantely the RMS Queen Mary is still here and open to the public. It is always a great feeling to walk on her decks and to see all the wonderful salons and rooms. You feel like being on a transatalantic passage from Southhampton to New York.
