Unfortunately, I only had the oppertunity to play the sequel, Everquest 2. Something about Norrath just reaches out and grasps you tightly. It is more than a game, a place where you meet new people and explore lands.

..........nooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! i loved youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!! -
I don't know what EverQuest is... It's not simply a game, it's something more than that.
What I do know is EverQuest gives an experience so magical, so universal, it's almost alien, because no other game can do this. What makes it do this?
Is it the people we meet, with their maturity of acceptance of the complexity of gameplay and depth of content?
Is it the content itself? The simpleness of the world, so life-like yet fantasy-rich?
I'm not sure... but damn EQ is a good game...

I thought Kaladim was the dwarven city in the mountain? I haven't played EQ since 2002ish but I remember the music being a lot different. Anyways, this music is nice.
It would be nice to hear the Blacksmith's music too. I don't know if all blacksmiths had the same music but the one in the dwarven city was good!

@SHOE788 I know this is an old comment, but what he's referring to is back in the old days when you walked out of Freeport it played this music for some reason. It fit very well, it said "Your adventure begins." :)
But yes, this is Kaladim.

I'd almost agree, but Warcraft 2 does it for me too.
ive played alot of games in my time.. and no other game music can make me feel as nostalgic as EQ.
