In this video I am giving you an up-close look at our professional grade RG59 + 18-2 Siamese CCTV cable. This is the most popular camera used for installing and wiring CCTV security cameras. The RG59 + 18-2 Siamese CCTV cable really has two cables that are stuck together to support the power and video for your security cameras. Having the two necessary cables combined into a single parallel Siamese cable really make pulling and installing your CCTV cables easy! The RG59 coaxial cable part of this cable will be the cable that stream the video that your security camera is viewing back to the CCTV DVR. In order to attach the RG59 to both the security camera and DVR you will have to terminate both ends with a BNC connectors. The RG59 on this Siamese cable had a 20 gauge solid copper center conductor, and a 95% copper braid. So you are getting all the specifications of a professional grade video cable. The 18-2 power cable is an 18 gauge 2 conductor cable that will be used to deliver power from your power source out to your cameras. Our RG59 + 18-2 Siamese CCTV cable UL and CMR rated. So it is certified for use in both residential and commercial riser (non-plenum) installations. If you have any questions about Siamese CCTV cables, and how to best use them to install security cameras please feel free to contact me directly! All my contact information is right on my channel! Best of luck!

A two-minute talk just to explain a simple combo cable of coax and power. Cheap promo.

What about the connector for power at the camera end? Virtually all camera manufacturers invalidate their warranty if their pigtail video and power cable has been cut to accomplish the installer's wire nut splice with the power cable in your video. What about that?
