Placer County Sheriff's Council

The Placer County Sheriff's Council was formed in 2004 by local citizens seeking ways to help the Placer County Sheriff's Department maintain its current efficiency, improve its effectiveness in the short term and seek innovative solutions to the increasingly complex problems faced by the men and women of law enforcement.

The Council aims to help fill the gap between the public's need for increasing law enforcement services and tightening county budgets. While our efforts focus on providing specialized equipment and supplies for public safety, we are also involved in education and training.
