British resident Omar Deghayes was held for years without charge or trial by the US authorites in their detention centres in Bagram in Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. He tells Press TV's Roshan Muhammed Salih about how American guards tortured him and how Barack Obama is continuing the failed policies of George Bush.

The reason why the U.S. government instituted a policy of torture could be precisely because it is unreliable for garnering accurate intelligence. Perhaps the idea was to coerce confessions out of people to create a cover story for the ACTUAL perpetrators of 911, who might have been embedded in the U.S. government itself?

President Obama is probably the most caring and honest president in history. He is deeply loved my most Americans, and sortof liked by others. He is just one man, but there are many in the republican party who are still influencing government. Repubicans are into torture and abuse of non Anericans. Our Democrat party is for peace and caring. So, things will get better until the repubicans take over again. It isnt all president Bush, repubicans are the corrupt side of government!
