@habsman99 I think its a good thing CM Punk is where he is now in 2012 cause he has a chance to shine. Its just to bad not tooo many people in that company can keep up with him.That's why I think they brought Jericho back. They actually wasted Punk for years after he cashed in on Edge to be World Champ.

@brocksamson25 very good point! but at same time i cant see cm punk being a nobody because he is a good wreslter like randy orton but you are right both companys had top talent that are alot better then almost all rosters of wwe and TNA( lol cant compary TNA to WCW but still) just sad wcw was bought out just a great time be a wrestling fan... not so much now LOL thank god the rock is back( once in a while)

@habsman99 Remember during 97-01' during the Monday Night Wars they were going up against WCW. During the ratings war Punk is not a big enough draw now to be competing against at the time the N.W.O- Sting -Ric Flair -Goldberg -DDP for ratings as the top guy in the company. When you have Stone cold- The Rock- Mankind- HHH - Undertaker - Kane - Big show- Jericho who were all big stars at the time Punk would not fit. Then you also had Angle, Benoit, Guerrero towards the end of the war.

@brocksamson25 i agree but i disagree i think cm punk would had a run as world champion cuz he does have talent but i agree the talent was very stacked at the time i i dont think john cena would been a jobber he would be atleast IC champion battling with chris jericho and maybe could made a tag team with sumone and been in that redicious tag team divison where tag team titles ment sumthing!!

@habsman99 CM Punk would have never main evented. The roster was to stacked with main event talent. He might just have gotten as far as IC champ. I'm not taking anything away from him he is good but not to hang with the top talent during that time. He was no even on Jericho's level during this time. And Dr, Thuganomics John Cena would have been a jobber. No one would have taken him seriuosly as a threat to the top talent.
