@FLpolo i get what you mean by soul.. you mean instead of showing off speed or playing ability, that you play notes that you can feel.. i been playing guitar since i was 15 and im 19 now.. i feel everygenre has much emotion though.. i also feel that to play with alot of emotion not only do you haf to bleed out the notes but you have to play them really fast sometimes.. i only responded to your message cuz most white americans play metal and blues.. full of emotion.. and im puerto rican

@temporaryfailure4444 yep. but by the last thing you said i can tell you don't what "soul" is or what i mean by "soul". if you ever played guitar and study the differences in playing you can see european style of rock is played racing through scales without "feeling" the notes. but there are a couple white dudes that play with emotion really crazy. i can understnd why you say that through, its a conditioned response. we are all human, but we are not the same spiritual. its called diversity.
