I am available for consulting. Call 510-473-2492 10 am to 10 pm Pacific time or eMail via YouTube for more details. This example uses MS Access to launch Excel, create a workbook, add worksheets, format worksheets, write data and add charts to graph the data.

  • Hey man, great work!! Do you know if I can use any free statistics add-in or something in access? My database has 800.000 rows and over 100 columns, so Excel is a no-go for statistical analysis (mean, mode, median, distribution, etc.).

  • @cavorka216 , Sorry I don't know of any.

  • NO CODE nor NO download over HERE !!

  • @tvbNEWSreporter , Sorry I can't share out this code. It's owned by the client for which it was developed.

  • @msaccessdev yes, but then what is the use of this video? Would have been more useful to see (not the code) some tips on how to bridge between excel and access. .. a bit frustrating as this is exactly what I am looking for.

  • Using VBA code to talk to an Excel Chart is about create a Excal chart object and adding an additional reference from Access. The best way to start would be to record a macro in Excel and use this code as the base to get started and transpose it into Access VBA since it’s the same language – only uses different libraries.

  • Greetings! Wonderful, I would like to do something like that. How can I contact you to make a system like this? Is it possible contact you by e-mail? So, that`s mine : ggarfo@hotmail.com and I'm in Mozambique. Thank you!

  • That's excellent, I am interested in doing a similar thing, however I've only managed to copy information from text boxes on a form to a pre formatted spread sheet. Are you able to share some of the coding behind this please? I am really interested. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

  • Very nice! Wish I could do that!
