They say that the truest measure of hero is not in the greatness of their actions, but in the greatness their actions inspire in others. For inspiring and entire generation of writers, artists, programmers, and other creative people, Gary Gygax will always be my hero.

I had the honor of meeting Gary Gygax at DragonConACE 1992 in Atlanta,Georgia.
I was a big D&D obsessed dork back then.I was nervous but Gary was very kind, signing severeal D&D books for me,I even bought(his new game -at the time- Dangerous Journeys. He was a very down-to-earth and sincere person

God, poor Gary. I've only been really getting into D&D for the past year now, but my main experience has been with the 3.5 system, and that's some of the most fun I've ever had.
I was told a long time ago that a person should endavour to live in such a way, that when they passed, even the undertaker would be moved to tears by their passing. Gary Gigax was one of those people. We will always miss you Gary.

Very poetic and nice. I hope it worked out great. I bet Gary smiled seeing that.
