(Note: This video is the same as the other one, with the correct year)

This is the hardest video I have ever made. Gary Gygax was a hero to me, someone I had my heart set on meeting one day.

He created the Dungeons & Dragons game and opened the doors to infinite worlds of fantasy and adventure to me and millions of others.

You will be missed, Gary, and my heart goes out to his wife and children.

  • I was told a long time ago that a person should endavour to live in such a way, that when they passed, even the undertaker would be moved to tears by their passing. Gary Gigax was one of those people. We will always miss you Gary.

  • I don't know who told you that, but I really like it. Definitely true for Gary.

  • Perfect.

  • Thank you kindly. Nothing to good for Gary.

  • That was nice. Today, our group played S1, Tomb of Horrors in memory of Mr. Gygax. RIP.

  • Very poetic and nice. I hope it worked out great. I bet Gary smiled seeing that.

  • They say that the truest measure of hero is not in the greatness of their actions, but in the greatness their actions inspire in others. For inspiring and entire generation of writers, artists, programmers, and other creative people, Gary Gygax will always be my hero.

  • I had the honor of meeting Gary Gygax at DragonConACE 1992 in Atlanta,Georgia.

I was a big D&D obsessed dork back then.I was nervous but Gary was very kind, signing severeal D&D books for me,I even bought(his new game -at the time- Dangerous Journeys. He was a very down-to-earth and sincere person

  • God, poor Gary. I've only been really getting into D&D for the past year now, but my main experience has been with the 3.5 system, and that's some of the most fun I've ever had.
