Plot Summary: Inspired by actual events, Kathy (Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz) is an American police officer who takes a job working as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk.

Amazing film! It is a sobering true tale of the ugliness of mankind--the ugliness that many turn their heads to ignoring. But it is this same ugliness that needs to be told to enable more to know.

@dethnh82uall Very truth. I was working in Bosnia in IPTF in 1996/2001. Even at that time some officers were involved in sex slavery. Thanks for posting

This movie is based upon true events. Specifically, DynCorp's operation in Bosnia in the 1990's. We (the taxpayers), fund their operations. They were raided by the 48th Military Police Detachment in 1999 and charged with using 12-15 year olds as sex slaves? DynCorp is an extremely powerful American defense contractor (mercenary) corporation now owned by Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. (a private equity firm located on Park Avenue) which also holds majority shares of GMAC and DaimlerChrysler.
