Shame there's no footage of Jess with his band, The Humans. Produced a great album a few years ago with some superb guitar playing from Gary Grainger.

@flymc172 Jess Roden's greatest is now availble on CD - just got my copy. Blowin's on it, as is this song, and You Can Leave Your Hat On. Great album.

Discovered him in 1968 oer 69 with Bronco which was quiet good...and then with
his proper band : he just kicked my ass off : what a voice...and the feeling ...
Grat great singer..;Why didn't he become a star like Robert Plant or Rod Stewart ?
Keep on rocking for us Jess.

Why the hell didn't Jess become a superstar? I first came across him as support to Roxy Music 1974 and was blown away.

Thanks so much to all you Jess Roden fans-- when I got divorced my "X" threw out all my albums. I am looking for the song *which is the album title- Blowin'-- does anyone have this to post or know where I can get the cd at? Thanks in advance flymc172

What an amazing voice !
I first found Jess Roden as the lead singer on the Butts Band album with Robbie Kreiger & Jihn Densmore of the Doors ! Another great album !
