@desighnedmilitent officers have had to deal with peopel gettign shot multiple times in the chest with 9mm and keep on coming at them...caliber does matter somewhat

@cutlerylover I agree - I think it's gun ignorance to think that caliber doesn't have a factor....it does, but, more importantly is the ammo you use...for 9mm using a 147grain Speer Gold Dot JHP is different than using 110grain FMJ

For those of you that worry about carrying a smaller caliber gun I would submit that modern ammo has greatly increased the effectiveness of smaller rounds. I have done quite a bit of testing on clothing covered bone in roasts and I would sure not want to get hit with a 380 mag safe it penetrates well and makes a real mess.

@Nikhops You don't remember the stat because it is made up. :) There are literally millions (that is a real stat) of stories every year of legal firearms being used in personal protection. I'm happy I live in America, a country that isn't so paranoid that it takes it's firearms away from citizens. :)

Frightening, I'm french and I'm pretty happy that in my country nobody carries guns like that. I love your knife videos but this seems completely paranoid.

For all those saying "you have to protect your familly" most of the time (don't remember the stat) it's a member of the familly shot by their own gun accidentally.
