Segmented wood turning, Built with staves to show off the figure in the Mayan Walnut. Woods top to bottom - Birdseye Maple, Mayan Walnut, Panga & the bottom is Holly, 101 total pieces of wood. Trying to avoid reflection in the piece was difficult . More to come. By Josh Cain

  • Actually I have a table with different angle combinations, I set up my saw with a protractor that measures within 5 minutes of arc, then I make practice cuts using MDF then put that together. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to get it right.
