i'm having a hard time understanding pat'chim.. why are there pat'chims?

@cora82790 A Syllable (block) like 한 (han) contains three letters the initial consonant ㅎ(h) the vowel (ㅏ) and the final consonant ㄴ(n). The final consonant is also called pat'chim: ㄴ in 한, ㅇ in 킹, ㅈ in 맞, etc. understood? "Why are they there pat'chims?" They r part of the Korean language.
