@soylentgreenb "you will expend more energy than you can get back from the hydrogen"
What if you use renewable energy to create hydrogen? Solar-powered-hydrogen plants would create the cleanest fuel possible using the cleanest energy you can get
-
@sqwishdabug watch "who killed the electric car" electric cars were taken off the market by car and oil companies to make more money and their safer then hydrogen cars.
-
@acmoc If you burn gasoline or diesel, the main components of the exhaust are CO2 and H2O. We produced water from oil the whole 20. Century. What kind of scientists were they?
-
2040, the world has switched to hydrogen, scientists say the large production of h2o is causing an imbalance in the earths atmosphere
-
@mastermind1001 yes, but as a measurement, a Hydrogen generater (electrolysis) using aprox. 500 watts to splitt water into H2 and oxygen per gallon.
I was floored when I seen refining 1 gallon of gasoline takes 6000 watts..
so either way, Hydrogen is a fuel we can make in our kitchen much cheaper then ANY other fuel... yes its ever cheaper the biodiesel AND will run a diesel engine the same as diesel, you only have to switch the glow plugs to spark plugs. :-)

We've had this technology for years, look it up. You can do this conversion to any car right now. Check out hydrogengarage I do not sell or have any affiliations with then I just believe in the technology.
-
LOL you want dangerous try lighting a gallon of regular gasoline that has enough energy to blow up a 1200 sq ft house.
-
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: the future.
-
@mastermind1001 Here's what sucks about today's electric cars: The first year you own it its range might be 100 miles. But just like a laptop or cellphone, the lithium ion battery deplete slowly and degenerate. Your range gets less and less every year until you get new batteries. And your old batteries go to some landfill with thousands of other peoples car batteries. See the problem here? HYDROGEN FTW
-
@mastermind1001 Either way nothing is for sure at this point and the future remains uncertin.
thank goodness for the hydrogen car. I can't wait until we move on without gasoline! it's finally happening. Maybe before we all die of old age and our kids take over the world we'll own one of these first.
