housing issue in vancouver "fake scarcity"

Public Land SHOULD STAY in Public Hands! Historic contributions have been made to community, city, province & country, for more than half a century.

Acknowledge this by saving these buildings.

It's easily done with available federal (CMHC) funding to renovate & re-open these homes for the families that desperately need them.

Have a Heart and SPEAK OUT NOW, to both the Premier & Prime Minister to keep this land & access the special 'ReReSoHo' funding.

that is so true. most homeless people are so messed up that they dont want to go into community housing, especially wiht the problems associated wiht the 'projects' which include violence drugs and other matters

What he doesn't say is that the so called "homeless" in Vancouver are in fact JUNKIES who spend their money on DRUGS and sell their rent cheques to landlords like Paul Sahota for cash ($50-100 on a $375 cheque).

The real problem is the 1.5 BILLION since '2000 that has been given to the people who are supposed to help the DTES people have resulted in a big fat ZERO..
