A Found Footage assignment for my capstone film class at Boulder.

I had to use other people's footage and sound to create a NEW work. The idea behind this is an initial attempt to begin to come to terms with the loss of someone, and as a commentary on the idea that most films follow that in order to connect or sympathize with someone you must see their face, and you tend to connect more with people whose faces you see from straight-on or almost straight on. By denying the spectator, you, that privilege, am I disconnecting you from the people you are watching?

Because I am only using small amounts of footage from any one source, and have used it to create a commentary on the source, this film should be covered under fair use. I gain no money from the creation of this school assignment, and only gave money to the creators when I purchased the source material.
