日本に一時帰国中、動物園に連れて行ってみました。ふれあいコーナーでモルモットなどをよしよしさせてもらいました。

This is at a petting zoo - they are not selling them, and they are certainly not selling them to be eaten. That is commonly practiced in South America - not Asia

@princesadelaos actually... Japanese don't EAT those kind of animals. (yes, they speak Japanese, the title is written in Japanese). They don't eat dogs, hamsters, cats or whatever.

I just know this for the Japanese, i dunno about Chinese or else.

Cute but there are so many guinea pig no-no's going on there that it's kinda sad too.
