i agree with you meggiblu, theres no reason at all... for what? it's just a simple as "hey grow up!" yeah maybe steve perry's time with his fan cannot accept the fact that their time had passed but still i respect them because Journey become famous because of Steve Perry but let them Arnel give a chance to accept and to continue what schon and cain and valorie had started..i love this remix.. thanks cgarris..your cool...don't care what do they say to you..ayt? thanks for sharing this remix.

I agree with you on that. If I can do songs with Augeri and Soto I know I can do stuff with Pineda. I may do remixes of his solo material next.

There should be no reason for 'heat' for this. No reason people can not to appreciate both men. True-some attached to Steve Perry years ago and he will always be special- that takes nothing away from another mans talent years later. Steve and Arnel both were close to their moms, sang because of their moms, lost their moms in death. They can relate in that way to each other as well as professional musicians. Fans can respect them both while having personal preference. Maybe, maybe a duet 1 day...

Steve Perry will always be the one and only "Voice" for me. Without him Journey isn't Journey. But Arnel is a great singer and it's very hard to walk in the footsteps of a "legend" like Steve Perry. And Arnel does a really great job.

I liked Jeff Scott Soto too. He's also a great singer.

If I HAD to listen to Arnel sing, I would rather hear him sing this then the old Journey classics! I'll always be a Perry fan and no one can sing them like he can! Sorry guys, to each his own.
