trio56: My dad was a Vietnam Vet from 1968-1972 who enlisted (was no drafted) and growing up he would tell quite a few stories of his Vietnam experiences with great detail that I always found very interesting and admirable. So I have to say you don;t know what your talking about because not just my dad but I have spoken with other Vets at the V.A. hospitals that were always going back in time telling their experiences.

For first I don't know anyone who was in Vietnam talks about it, much less wears it on his sleeve like a bleeding heart on his sleeve constantly. For two why is it that he has voted no on every single bill for vets and even military equipment for the troops in Iraq? And medical care when they come home.

if that man wants to talk about this everyday for the rest of his life then we should all just shut up and listen. i don't care if you are democrat or republican, this man was a PRISONER OF WAR, meaning that during his time of FIGHTING FOR HIS COUNTRY SOMEONE CAPTURED HIM AND TORTURED HIM for an EXTENDED period of time. do not discount his experience or his contribution because you don't like him. have a little respect for our solders please.
