Unaccompanied electric bass solos are just a bloody conventional wank. An athletic exhibition at best, rarely creative.. If I were a bassist, (or drummer) I d want the same rhythmic and harmonic support the saxophone or the piano gets. This guy can play, but Ive already heard Larry Graham, and Stanley Clarke, in a more musical context, 40 years ago.

this says nothing about what an uglistick is. i have been looking around online trying to figure out what it is and i have grown tired of these obnoxious bass players. btw the uglystick fishing rod gets better exposure online

Wtf??? That's one of the craziest playing styles I've ever seen! With the underhand thing I mean. Cool as fuck! And then the rest is badass too, of course.
