I was a cop for 6 years, and have been a paramedic for 27 years, so I know both sides. News flash - there are jerks in both services!! I think Sully's response was the most accurate portrayal of any character in the entire scene and works for us all - "take a look around before you insult somebody!"

Listen, in all jobs, there is someone who is an idiot who think they are better than others. Believe it or not, they're cops out there who are actually good cops and do things the right way. Its just that other percent of cops who give other good cops a bad rep. Remember, they wear the same uniform and for people who hate cops, its difficult to look past that.

And we came to the same conclusion...If you have weed on you and you happen to be driving through a bad neighborhood and a cop sees you, he will pull you over. If you are getting jumped by 2 or more guys in a bad neighborhood and a cop sees you, he will drive on by.

i think the reason that amost every cop is an ass hole is besause of the way the police department trains them. they train them to be tough stubern selfish jerks. and from the cops ive seen it seems like lots of the cops out there are not there to help you, they are only out there because they can have guns, drive fast cars and get to be in shootouts and stuff.
