And Finally (pardon me), Co-Writer is a creative position so how is it bureaucratic and how is it sucking other people's talent?
-
@Gonzalitus I'm sorry, so you would prefer designers writing the story, organising the talent and doing their own taxes? That sounds like a wholly inefficient use of talented creatives. If you're arguing that the above roles shouldn't exist, I'd argue that Pixar wouldn't exist - and that it wouldn't be an animation studio, it would be a commune.
Second to that, STEVE JOBS of APPLE!! co-founded this company - how was it ever anything other than a corporation?!

My uncle works at Pixar one of his friend helped me write a Princess story and they both are the coolest people on Earth. Now they work for Walt Disney Animation Studio...
-
when is pixar gonna make an animation software for people to create animations?
-
Anyone else watch this after hearing it described in Steve Jobs's autobiography?
-
@LucasFormosoSilva Because it is a representation of the relaxing environment in Pixar.

@Fr0zenProducti0ns Yeah, I'm sure we owe every pixel of design to an Account Manager or a Sales representative... I'll go ahead and send a letter asking all designers to quit! :)
Co Producer, Co Writer, Art Manager, Account Manager, Administrative, Representative, Business, Stock, Money, Leechers of great designers.
I hate to see when something good becomes a huge corporation filled of bureaucratic people sucking other's talent. I miss the old Pixar concept.
