  • @atamtua64: You say the idea of hell is not Biblical?? Jesus talks about hell more than He talks of Heaven so it most certainly IS Biblical!

Where do you get your false claims that Satan et al are going to "die"? The Bible says this is an eternal punishment whether you choose to believe it or not, and you have obviously chosen to disregard the Word and make totally incorrect assumptions which you cannot justify or back up.

I wonder what "Bible" you read because it isn't the one I read; your w

  • I've met this clown. He's a fraud, a rude man, and a narrow-minded individual.

  • @1027sterling The Bible is a good book if viewed as cryptic challenges to say what the characters should have done. In Judges 11v 29-40 Jephthah vowed to kill whatever came out of his house first if he won the battle. He should have realised a good God wouldn't want that. His daughter could have reminded him that he'd made a mistake. He should have realised & said,' Of course God wouldn't want me to murder'. It is a cautionary story to deter people making daft promises.

  • @1027sterling Have you read the excellent book, ' The reason driven life' by Robert M Price which is his reply to TPDL. Price makes many witty, good humoured observations on TPDL & the Bible& notes that the authors of the Bible often have more than one opinion on each topic. Higher criticism of the Bible reveals treasures that apologetics miss. Do you agree that often O.T. stories are set as moral challenges for people to say,' He shouldn't have done that, it would be more ethical to do this..

  • Cheers to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America! They are helping to end world hunger.

Yay! I finally found a church that's doing the work of God!

They're spreading the word about the possibility of ending world hunger. Now I'm going to spread the word about them.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." ~ Matthew 25:35

  • Religions,

Stop fighting and start feeding people instead. Many people all over the world are starving. Religions can help to save their lives.

Religions must do the work of God in this world.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." ~ Matthew 25:35
