Wow!
Jesus IS God manifested in the flesh. However he lived as a human, tempted as a human, etc.
Of course everything changed when he was crucified, buried (in a tomb), resurrected.
1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
"God was manifest in the flesh"

@TheScrewedGeneration Hello? Did you see my last comment?

@TheScrewedGeneration Hold up you asked me about John 1:1 and I gave you an answer (and no I didn't even mention Greber, Moffatt, Goodspeed) I thought you were going to make a point regarding John 1:1, now your jumpoing all around? What was your point regarding John 1:1? Again, stick with one point out of time.

1 - Tell me, do these mean that these authors are teaching that Jesus is not God?
2 - If yes, can you prove this by verifying the other "Jesus-God" texts?
ex.: Jn 8:58 / Jn 20:28 / Rom 9:5 / 2 Cor 5:19 / Col 2:9 / Tit 2:13 / Heb 1:8 / 2Pet 1:1 / 1Jn 5:20
3 - Do you know that the Wt is not deceiving you by keeping information from you about these authors?
Just like they did about Johannes Greber, Moffatt, Goodspeed, etc...

@TheScrewedGeneration Let's stick with one point out of time. - Name me the Bible(s): - Name me the Bible(s)
"and a God was the Word"--The Coptic Version of the Gospel of John in the Sahidic 2nd cent.Language. 2nd/3rd century CE (translated in 1911)
"and the Word was a God"--Reijner Rooleeuw, M.D.-The NT of Our Lord JesusChrist, translated from the Greek, 1694
"and the Word was a god"--The NT, in an improved version, upon the basis of Archbishop Newsome's New Translation

1 - Name me the Bible(s)
2 - Read the context from v.15 to 23 and tell me that the context is not of supremacy (leave out all the added "other" of the NWT) - you quote the greek when it favors you, but "other" is NOT in the greek. Please read from the NIV or KJV and see the difference.
3 - Jesus on earth was a servant:
-Notice it says "in the form of a servant" = he WAS a servant.
-It also says "in the form of God" = he WAS God.
-
@TheScrewedGeneration Answer 1: Absolutely; answer 2: in col 1:15 in that context its referring to first created; Jesus was a servant on earth and heaven

@DefendingYHWH This may take some time. I will try to make you think. You may eventually keep me blocked.
Question 1 - Does any other Bible agree with JW doctrine in general? I am not speaking of the erroneous word "Jehovah", but on doctrine in general. Ex.: Jesus being a god.
Question 2 - What does "first born" mean? Does it mean "created first" or "having preeminence"?
Question 3 - While on earth, was Jesus a servant or not?
The questions are simple, please answer them directly.
-
@TheScrewedGeneration He was created "first born of all creation" Col 1:15 and you are correct became in the FORM of a servant as he was in the FORM of God, but NOT GOD. He is the image of God.
Malachi139, you change NOTHING, Jesus is GOD!
