This is one of 6 short movies produced by a student group at the International Experimental Program at the No. 1 High School Affiliated with Central China Normal University. These movie shorts were made as part of a project with a school in Sydney, Australia. Students produced a movie with a full soundtrack (voice, music, and sound effects), and then stripped out the soundtrack, exchanging silent movies between schools. Then students added their own imagined versions of soundtracks to the silent films. In addition to being engaging and interesting for the students, I believe there's evidence here of authentic learning in language and culture.
