Photographer Jerry Pritikin announces his photo exhibition opening at Gage Gallery in Chicago and pays tribute to Harvey Milk Day with his photographs and interesting historical stories from San Francisco in the 1970's about Harvey Milk, Mayor Moscone, Castro Street, White Night Riots...
Thank you for sharing your stories and images with us. I've read much about Harvey Milk; not much is available about Mayor Moscone, and that should be remedied. But I have read enough to know that we need these two amazing men today more than ever. Thanks, Jerry. Wish I could have been there with you. ~ straight but not narrow

@moyalynne For me it's been a labor of love, a symphony of time, a collage of people on a roller coaster of life, never with a dull moment. The 1970s left its finger prints in the Castro, and in my photographs. The characters were real. To have been there at that time... was a mission with a purpose that erased the status quo, providing us a new road map for the next generations of change makers. All with Harvey's Spirit. It was never a recreation, when the main ingredients were non-fictional!
