    Since that is completely untrue...the fact is that the Pilgrims took over an area of land that had been vacated by a tribe that had been wiped out some years earlier by an outbreak of plague. The sole surviving member of that tribe, Squanto, only survived because he had been kidnapped and taken to London, missed the plague, and managed to earn his freedom and return, only to find his entire tribe dead. None of the other tribes wanted the land because it was "cursed"

  • It is funny how history is explained...no where here is it mentioned about the 700 men women children killed...Indians that is.... and how the pilgrims gave thanks to God for the masacare of the Indians
