  • First, as long as its square thats all that matters. 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 works best. Second, if you havent yet head on over to my NSRS forum and sign up. Will be a lot easier to answer questions in the forum then here. Link to the forum is above

  • Actually, I do it this way about importing background... I don't make a square texture, I just make a plane in max and make it the size of picture pixels (eg. 4056x3056), put the picture on it, and the ratio is preserved, then I use box as you to measure distance (but I use as far points as possible, which I recommend for greater precision), and just scale the plane... But both ways are ok..

  • Man I'm trying to make these tracks but I get to the material part where I'm trying to drag my track from Google Earth into 3ds Max, and it's not letting me drag. I'm just starting with all this and you didn't give any certain dimensions to make the Photoshop file so I'm not sure if that's the problem or not? I'm using 3ds Max 2010 and I have made tracks in other games just not in 3ds Max. Please help.
