There is need for history education in our schools that is different from the pacifist propaganda that is fed to us. Firstly, there is no difference between the marathas & the rajputs. Most marathi kings in the medieval period had rajput ancestors or 'rajaputras'. Most of the Sikh converts to the mighty Khalsa army formed by Guru Gobind Singh were drawn from the ranks of the bravest Maratha & Rajput warriors. It is sad that these brave warriors were always at war with each other later.
