chapter 1,
What am I doing with my poor little wimpy life? Why am I wasting my time on this guy, I'll never have a chance with? No time for questions. "Oh I'm so sorry" the tall mystery guy said as he knelt down to help me picked up the books I just dropped. "It's uh okay" I said, I looked at his strikingly handsome hazel eyes and quickly looked away, blushing. This guy had to be at least 2 or 3 years older than me. "I'm Kevin" he said. I grinned and said "i'm kelsey." Out of pure curosity I asked willingly, "Do you go here?" He laughed, not in a mocking tone, but a tone that was genuine. "Ah, no, I came to see my girlfriend. She's a new teacher here." I felt my face flush red with embarassment at my silly mistake and the mention of his teacher girlfriend. "Oh Ms.Ebonay?" I asked, remembering my english teacher, she was young and softspoken. He nodded and scratched his chin thoughtfully. "well I should get going." Inside my head, I was screaming at him to stay and chat me up a bit more, so I could discuss the mature topics of college students that none of these retards at this school would understand. "K, bye." I said simply and started back out the door. Luke and Maylisa must've already left.
