Tropical Storm Hanna moved through Norfolk, Va on Sept. 6, 2008. Here is video from Willoughby Spit as a strong line of convenction moves North along the beach. There was no rain and little sunshine, which made for the perfect chance to shoot some photography and video. Overall Hanna was a weak storm, but still fun.

  • And Ike may be moving into the GOM, with Texas in his eye ... YIPE. Excellent footage of Hanna. Even weak tropical systems can cause scary clouds and lots of rain.

  • Thanks, I'm watching Texas for Ike. Models seem to keep pulling West Towards you.

  • COOL footage Mike! After just returning from the Gustav chase, and with Ike on the horizon, I unfortunately had to let Hanna go... it's great to see what went on up there though. That's a pretty ominous looking squall offshore from 2:00 on.

  • Thanks Mike, I hope Ike winds down. Sounds like the Turks and Caicos islands got hit hard. Not good.
