August Falls

My boyfriend surprised me with an email one day and wrote me a poem. He is the sweetest man in the world. I wanted to surprise him too. But since I didn't want to appear like a copycat, I decided to make a song out of his poem. So here it is:

August Falls (the lyrics aren't the same as the poem because I sort of tweaked it)

Wanted to get away, aways from it all,
sorrow and joy alike, but how was I
suppose to know you were there there to
steal it all, there to steal the show,
run far wih part of me with you, the
part that i didn't think existed, how was
I suppose to know, I would chase you
wanting, needing to know why part of
me stayed, why part of me became part of
you, now all of me wants to be with all
of you, how was I suppose to know, I
would fall, pieces broken, put back
together with new purpose new outlook,
new love for the things that once I ran
from, how was i suppose to know,
how indeed.
