PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU WATCH!

This video/song deals with a very sad and horrible subject: Molestation. It in no way reflects anything that has ever happened to me, thank the Lord. I got the idea for this song after watching Laveranues Cole on Oprah. It is a serious song, so if you can't handle it please don't watch it or comment on it. In fact it is such an emotionally serious song that when the camera cut off almost at the end I decided not to sing it again. It was just too much. So sorry for the abrupt cut off in the last chorus but you will definitely get the idea of the song.

It happens every night.
While all the others sleep.
He tells me not to fight
And that I dare not speak.

And it goes on
For so long
How can he not see
He's killing me?

Then there was one time,
One time it hurt like hell.
But he just kept on
And I began to yell.

But no one came,
To rid my pain.
How can they not see,
They're killing me?

And I have no where I can go.
I have no one I can turn to.
There's no one who truly knows.
All the things I've been through.

Now I feel ashamed.
Even though I know
This thing I dare not name.
Is not in my control.

But I don't even try.
I just stand by.
How can I not see,
I'm killing me?

And I have no where I can go.
I have no one I can turn to.
There's no one who truly knows.
All the things I've been through.

  • very beautiful!!xoxo

  • WOW, very emotional song!!

  • chase this is the kind of music that will help those who feel abandoned by the world....you must write a screen play dealing with the dangers everyone chooses to ignore...it must contain real pain and real joy....you will have to find the balance or it will be so dark that many wont have the courage to view it

  • Wow, great job for addressing a very serious issue, I can tell you have compassion and understanding for others. It would mean a lot to people who have experienced this, I think.
