trucks were NOT attached, actually when we broke them loose and pulled them down the asphault, driving down that road today you can still see the wheel marks etched in, the trucks on loco's ARE attached unlike regular rail cars, we only hauled it about a quarter mile down the road to a wide area next to the mainline providing a place to re-rail with the side boom cats.

I am absolutely amazed that the flatbed can hold that much weight without the tires exploding underneath it. Just incredible! Plus what is the locomotive actually sitting on? Wouldn't the weight of it's wheels cut thru any wooden planking underneath it?

@PhantomDrums917 Without the trucks attached it dropped the weight considerably, w/ trucks they are about 400,000lbs, we figured about 150-170 ton and the trailer was rated for over 200 ton, used oak ties for planking, no deck issues, the transfer went perfect
