In this tool assisted speed run, a glitch in the game's coding is exploited, where spin dashing just as an ACT begins causes the camera (And Sonic.) to scroll past a large chunk of the ACT, and land Sonic near the end of it.

No slow downs or save states were used in this tool assisted speed run.

- Uses death to activate a glitch.
- Abuses a glitch to bypass large portions of ACTs.
- Aims for fastest ZONE completion time.

It's a file you need to open with a SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis emulator.

I recommend using the KEGA Fusion emulator. Google it. ;-)

That's the whole point behind tool assited speed runs - to remember the stage layouts, find game breaking glitches, complete levels as fast as possible, and so on. Lots of people do this on YouTube.
