This is how I play some of the parts from Magic Bus by the Who. This is my version, NOT a note-for-note transcription.
Some notes:
1. I have tuned down a half-step, just like on the single version.
2. The version played here combines some of the single version with some of the version from Live at Leeds.
3. The chords are really simple: it's just A, C then G. It's how you strum it that makes it work.
4. Don't worry if you can't make out some parts at the beginning. I replay everything super-slow later in the video.
5. No tabs, so don't ask.
6. The plunger and the pot are there because I made this while taking a break from cleaning the shed.

  • Thank you so much, sir, for this excellent lesson! Your interpretation, or whatever you'll call it is really smokin' Love the way you just play around with various variation of the chord progresson, it's actually pretty inspiring. I followed your lesson (which was pretty much perfect) and learned it, and you just can't resist creating your own stuff.

  • @somatder Thank you kindly.

  • is this a drop d tuning?

  • @SJ9336JE No, but my guitar is tuned down a half-step

  • @aacc1313

It has all to do with the right hand, the strumming, accentuation and muted strums. Keep working and it will be good;)

Well, it has been two years now, so i Guess you are pretty sharp in this by now?

  • could you pot the tabs and explain the tuning

  • how did you clean the shed with a plunger? Can I see that in slow mo?
