Andru Edwards from Gear Live talks with Kevin Wentzel from the HP notebook team about the HD experience on HPs Fall '08 lineup of notebook computers. Key components of the high definition experience are HDMI out on most of the Pavilion line and the HDTV tuners available on HPs configure-to-order notebooks.

@mississauga0909 you have to use a line from your speaker jack to your tv to get sound. hdmi from pc to tv does not transfer sound. so you will need i believe what is called a 3m 3.5 Audio Jack.. it's just a cord with the same ends that plugs into your computers audio (where u'd put speakers/headphones in) and connects to your tv.. these are really cheap cords and you can get them at like radio shack, wal-mart or even on ebay.
