My dad was one of the Operators of Truck 7 in the 60's and 70's. I did not recognize him in any of the photos, but I remember Tk 7, Engne 25, and Engine 19 very well.
Wow Great Video Doc. . . All I want to know is who didn't have a Mack or American LaFrance Apparatus back then. They were great work horses I guess. . .
First ride I took was in 1974 on a 59' Lafrance open cab. Keep up the first rate work Doc! I feel that it's important the younger guys I work with today understand just how far we've come after all these years.......and how things have changed....the 1970's and early 80's were truly the last of times for for a different generation of FIREMAN.....
These were the days of real fire fighting.
