  • These were the days of real fire fighting.

  • My dad was one of the Operators of Truck 7 in the 60's and 70's. I did not recognize him in any of the photos, but I remember Tk 7, Engne 25, and Engine 19 very well.

  • beautiful video

  • Wow ! open cabs, midship aerials, Roto Rays. Blast from the past!! Thank you.

  • Aluminum "Senator" helmets... it does not get any better than this!

  • Wow Great Video Doc. . . All I want to know is who didn't have a Mack or American LaFrance Apparatus back then. They were great work horses I guess. . .

  • First ride I took was in 1974 on a 59' Lafrance open cab. Keep up the first rate work Doc! I feel that it's important the younger guys I work with today understand just how far we've come after all these years.......and how things have changed....the 1970's and early 80's were truly the last of times for for a different generation of FIREMAN.....

  • Sure that is a Big Chief siren? It looks like a CP25 Federal siren speaker. Or I could be wrong.

  • this is awesome!

  • Wow, are those Scott air packs being worn in the 70's? Nice video, keep them coming
