Making "Let's Not Talk Anymore"

This is a song that I can't wait to take to the studio because it's my jam. Haha. Over the past month or so, I've put a lot of time and effort into trying to give the industry what it wants. That approach and willingness to do what it takes to make it has yielded tremendous results in terms of me getting people in the industry to take me seriously.

However, after I finished "It's Called Dancing", I felt like I needed to stop worrying about "professional" judgment for a bit and just have fun making music. The result of my little rebellion is "Let's Not Talk Anymore".

When I wrote the lyrics (about six months ago), I thought to myself, "This song would be fun to make". It was definitely fun and relaxing to make, and I can't wait to record it and get it to a few artists I have in mind. I also have an alternate line that turns it into a song for a female singer (I do that with a lot of songs that I write).
