Have you ever dealt with a psychiatrist, psychologist, or therapist? And when exactly did you see them exerting social control with the aims of furthering the status quo.

The process of diagnosis is so objective it could almost be done by a computer. Diagnosis is not and cannot be used as the sort of tool of social control that you and others romanticize it to be.
