  • CLEAR promised me fast internet speeds (I purchased the "best" & "fastest" internet package they have)-but while watching movies on Netflix with my internet enabled LCD TV, movies get interrupted by a "pop up" that says my internet connection is too slow to continue the movie in high-definition- then gives me the option to choose a lower resolution. I've found out that CLEAR has been "THROTTLING" me (intentionally slowing my download speeds). Please Google this: clearwire throttling. --S.A., TX

  • Yah i don't know what people are talking about, i get 8MB per sec down but i guess it depends where you live, if your next to the tower like my friend he gets 11MB per sec down but he's probably gonna get cancer lol

  • slow slow DSL speed is I have seen so far from Clear

  • Comcast Wi-Fi + Sprint 4G + Clearwire = Fast Ass Shit Internet!!!!!!!

  • sounds like everyones just talking shit and doesnt know what they are talking about. this isnt the reinvention of the "wheel". what wimax gives us is a true high speed mobil connection. 5 to 8 meg downloads on a pc card!?!? come on! nokia is already getting behind this in a major way, they have made portable internet devices no larger than a cell phone to work with this technology. this is going to be awesome!!!

  • Holy shit! it about time we get it here! japan and canada already have Wimax services installed

  • how about you explain how it's not..

  • explain how is wimax "wifi" all over again

  • nextel = sprint?

    nii holding = sprint?

  • Wi-Fi all over again.. When are these idiots going to stop reinventing the wheel and learn that closed networks are largely irrelevant and that protocols mean everything.

Mesh wireless is the only way to go.
