These falls on the border of Argentina and Brazil (most of the falls are on the Argentine side) are one of the widest waterfall systems in the world. They are seen by boat (you get soaked) or catwalks on the Argentine side atop the falls, or catwalks on the Brazilian side closer to the middle (or base) of the falls, where you are completely surrounded. This video shows the Brazilian catwalks during the winter (late July). It was 10am, threatening rain, and 20 degrees C (about 70 Fahrenheit). The water collecting on the camera lens is not rain, but mist from the closest waterfall.
I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I read your MiceAge articles every week. I wish they included Brazil in the World Showcase at Epcot. We have Iguaçu Falls, the Amazon Rain forest, Pantanal (like the Everglades) and the beautiful beaches - some of them with sand dunes to be presented in the park.
