I thought that now only nVidia and ATI only make GPU's in world...but good to know that S3 still in bussiness...
S3 Chrome perform well even running system with single core nano processor....
I will buy s3 if it available in my region

GeForce 9600Gt kicks ass big time. I've got mine back in january 2009 and it runs Hard Reset [which is a PC exclusive] on Ultra at 30fps+ nearly the whole time. It only actually kind of lags when the temperature goes up, 'cause the original cooler broke up and I couldn't find an appropriate replacement for it so far.

The music reminds me of a mix between Blues Brothers and Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
I used to have a S3 Trio back in the day, Good card. Too bad S3 couldn't keep up with the big boys.

this is a terrible comparison. The 540 GTX is more on par with the 9400 gt and the 4530 not the 9600 and 4670

We need a third SOMETHING in this graphics tri-opoly. AMD and Nvidia are running away with all the high end stuff and Intel pretty much dominates everything low end.

@gamewizard but you forget not EVERYONE cares about games, as a matter of fact most of the world doesent. Price is a HUGE factor when your rolling out 500 pc's.

SERIOUSLY. I was just browsing on Wikipedia and I came across the S3 article. Internet advertising is dirt cheap. I wonder why VIA/S3 execs are not marketing their product?
